SSP-RS114 is a standard round shaft helical pile built around a 114 mm (4.49 in) outer-diameter steel tubular shaft. It is commonly paired with 300 mm (11.81 in), 350 mm (13.78 in), 400 mm (15.75 in) or 450 mm (17.72 in) diameter helical plates to suit different soil conditions, structural loads and installation requirements. This model is commonly used for commercial buildings, modular structures, solar mounting systems, utility structures, equipment foundations and other general foundation applications requiring a larger shaft size and greater structural capacity than light-duty pile systems. Depending on the project, the SSP-RS114 can be supplied with single or multiple helices. Shaft length, wall thickness, helix diameter, helix spacing, connection details, pile caps, brackets and surface treatments can all be customized according to project drawings and site requirements. For projects with specified compression, tension or lateral load requirements, the final pile configuration should be determined based on soil information, design loads, installation torque, embedment depth and engineering requirements. .
