On 2 August 2024, foundation construction began at tower N0809 on the Gansu section of the Ningxia to Hunan ±800 kV ultra high voltage direct current transmission line. SSP China manufactured the helical piles used for this tower foundation in Jingning County, Pingliang, Gansu Province, China.
